Great Sand Dunes was just beautiful but very unexpected. I don't think any of us realized that these giant sand dunes would be so snow covered. They were fantastic covered in snow but now we all want to come back and see them again in another season too!
The girls and I walked out a bit into the basin area that is surround by the sand dunes to see the view of the dunes. Then we headed back to the warmth of the car for a rest while Brent hiked up to the top edge of one of these sand dunes for this summit view of the dunes at sunset!
