Day 7: Denver, Colorado to Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Colorado

 While we were in this area of Colorado, we realized how close we were to the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. We decided to be sure and see this area before we headed down into New Mexico.

It was absolutely beautiful here! We had no idea how vast and rugged this area is!

We started in the visitor's center here with a few of Rachel's favorite dinosaurs!

We walked all around and through some amazing rock formations here!

 

I don't think Garden of Gods was even on our list of things we might want to see when we were planning our trip out west, but I'm so glad we made time to see it! It was well worth the extra time we took to stop here!
