We had no idea the grand scale and the immensity of the Rockies covered in snow that we would find in Rocky Mountain National Park!
It is hard to describe the enormity and grandeur of these mountains, especially covered in fresh snow!
We had another surprise as well. We had no idea that many places out west, including the National Parks, do not plow their snowy roads. After the snow, they just allow the roads to become a packed down lane of snow and that is what you drive (carefully) on!

We loved our visit to Rocky Mountain National Park! It definitely was worth the trip into Colorado to see this beautiful national park! We liked it so much that we decided to stay and visit the park the next day also!
